Bantwal: A car driven out of control crashed into a road divider, killing the driver and injuring four others, in an incident that took place on October 28 in Melkar, taluk.
The deceased youth has been identified as Karthik (23), a resident of Savanur in Kadaba taluk.
His friends Harshit, Dixit, Jagadish and Nitin, residents of Savanur, have been identified as the injured.
Karthik and his four friends had arrived for a job interview at a private company in Mangaluru on Tuesday morning, October 28. After finishing the interview, while returning home in the evening, the car lost control on the Melkar flyover and crashed into the divider.
Bantwal Traffic SI Sutesh visited the scene and registered a case.
