Lawrence Bishnoi Gang: The notorious Lawrence Bishnoi Gang has claimed responsibility for the killing of an Indian-origin Abbotsford industrialist and the shooting at the home of a Punjabi singer in Canada.
Rajasthan police had arrested Jagdeep Singh alias Jagga, an active member of the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang, in the US. These two attacks came after that. Bishnoi Gang member Goldie Dhillon has said that the group was behind the killing of Indian-origin industrialist Darshan Singh Sahasi.
Darshan Singh was involved in a big drug deal. The gang demanded money from him. When the money was not received, the gang allegedly killed him.
The businessman was shot dead outside his home in Abbotsford, British Columbia, on Monday morning. Singh waited for him to come out and was then killed.
