In the morning, a local resident named Purnesh was walking from Sulkeri towards Naravi when an unknown vehicle hit and ran over him. Due to the impact of the collision, Purnesh's hand was severed and he has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.
A case has been registered at the Venur police station in this regard.
