Mangaluru: Ullal police arrested a youth on Monday on charges of consuming narcotics.
The arrested accused has been identified as Bharat Raj (25).
It has been learned that the Ullal police arrested him while he was consuming some narcotics in a public place in the vicinity of Dwarakanagar in Someshwara village of Ullal taluk and was behaving in a manner that would cause trouble to the public.
Later, when he was examined at the hospital, it was confirmed that he had consumed narcotics, the police said.
