Mangaluru Theft: Burglars Break Lock, Flee With Gold and Money

 Mangaluru: Thieves broke into a house on K.C. Road in Talapadi village and stole thousands of rupees worth of gold and cash from the house.



The owner of the house, Vimala, locked the house on the afternoon of October 25 and went to her brother's house in Panjimogaru, Kulur. She then went to Kukke Subrahmanya. It is said that the theft occurred when she returned home on the evening of October 26.


The thieves broke the lock of the box kept on the TV showcase of the house, broke the lock of the Kallurti Devi's karimani necklace and the lock of the cupboard and stole Rs. 10,000 in cash. The total value of the stolen property is about Rs. 80,000. Vimala said in a complaint to the Ullal police.


A case has been registered in this regard at the Ullal police station.
