An incident has taken place in Chikkamagaluru where the police have arrested two accused who were blackmailing a young woman for money by creating a pornographic video using AI technology. It was revealed during the investigation that the accused, who had taken a huge loan, committed the act out of greed for money, and it has also come to light that the victim and the accused are from the same village.
Blackmail in the name of Yogesh
The accused, who had obtained a photo of a 25-year-old woman from Bavikere village from Facebook, had created an obscene video. After that, they repeatedly called the young woman's mother in the name of Yogesh, a Bengaluru native, and asked for money. When the accused started blackmailing her continuously, the young woman's family filed a complaint in this regard, citing the name of Yogesh. However, during the police investigation, the fraud of the accused was exposed and it was revealed that the real accused who were blackmailing her for money were Sahul and Akshay from the same Bavikere village.
The accused had also taken a huge loan. Therefore, they had fallen into the desire to make money somehow and started doing this kind of work. The accused admitted this matter before the police, and those who went to do what they should not have done are now in jail. Rumors have been heard in the village that those who used technology that was supposed to be used for good purposes for such bad purposes and made money have now been punished.
