Mangaluru: A case has been registered at the Kankanady City Police Station regarding the disappearance of a young woman who had gone to work at a gold shop on Rathbeedi in the city.
The missing person has been identified as Priyanka (21), a resident of Bajal. She had been working at a gold shop on Rathbeedi for the past two years.
She had left home for work as usual on June 14 in the morning. Later, at around 3.40 pm, she sent a voice message to her mother on WhatsApp, saying, “I am leaving home, do not look for me.”
The complaint states that the family members searched various areas of the city but could not find any trace of the young woman.
A case has been registered at the Kankanady City Police Station in this regard and the police are continuing the investigation.
