Shivamogga, October 31: A housewife from N.R.Pura died in a city hospital without receiving treatment, and the woman's parents have alleged that her husband's family members murdered her daughter by giving her pesticide. Housewife Pooja (30) passed away without receiving treatment. She was married to Sharath, a resident of Mavinakere Shettikoppa in N.R.Pura taluk, three years ago. The Sharath-Pooja couple also have a two-year-old son, and Pooja was being attacked for dowry. The parents have alleged that the daughter had told them about her husband Sharath, father-in-law Sudhakar, mother-in-law Radha and Sharath's sister Shabari, who were torturing her. The police have arrested Pooja's husband Sharath and father-in-law Sudhakar in connection with the case. A case has been registered in this regard at the N.R.Pura police station in Chikkamagaluru district.
